After Friday gave us a nice appetizer, the main course of college football’s final weekend of the regular season arrives Saturday. Two of the biggest rivalry games in the sport, Ohio State at Michigan and Alabama at Auburn, carry major playoff stakes.

There several other important matchups throughout the day as we have all kinds of conference title games and playoff scenarios to sort out. Here’s how to watch college football in Week 14, and here are the best games left later today (scroll for live updates):

It’s simple for Oregon. Beat Washington and host a first-round playoff game. The Huskies are mostly trying to play spoiler to their rivals. While Oregon’s Dante Moore has been one of country’s better QBs, the Ducks have learned to rely on an explosive run game.

Saturday’s game is the first time Vanderbilt and Tennessee will play as ranked opponents in their 119th meeting. A win will keep Vanderbilt in the mix for the playoff, but it’ll need a couple of teams ahead of them to lose in Week 14.

Alabama’s SEC title-game scenario is very straightforward: An Iron Bowl win sends the Crimson Tide to Atlanta. Bama QB Ty Simpson threw two interceptions in a win over an FCS team last week. If Simpson can avoid turnovers Saturday, the Tide should be OK.

Coaches love to talk about the “middle eight,” the final four minutes of the first half and the first four minutes of the second half. Ohio State won the first part of that pivotal period, and it’s got a golden opportunity to control the second part, too. The Buckeyes are getting the ball to start the second half with a 17-9 lead in hand.

Michigan’s strength so far has been its run game. But the Wolverines’ blueprint to beat their archrival doesn’t include two-score comebacks. Freshman QB Bryce Underwood has just 16 passing yards to his name at the moment.

Michigan’s defense will need to stand tall at the beginning of the third quarter.

Advantage: Julian Sayin. Bryce Underwood has just one completion to a receiver so far.

It’s been quite the bounceback for the Ohio State offense after Julian Sayin’s interception on the first drive of the game. As Michigan has settled for field goals, Ohio State’s two touchdowns have made it clear who has the better offense. Freshman RB Bo Jackson’s been the standout performer so far for the Buckeyes, as Michigan hasn’t been able to solely worry about Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate on the outside.

The Buckeyes are in the end zone with just 15 seconds remaining in the half after Julian Sayin found Brandon Enniss on a short slant route to add to their lead.

Miami is up 17-7 on Pitt as their ACC battle nears halftime and Malachi Toney is doing Malachi Toney things. Just look at this one-handed catch by the Hurricanes receiver:

The Buckeyes are past midfield after a mid-range pass from Julian Sayin to Will Kacmarek and another solid run from Bo Jackson.

They are nearing the red zone again now.

Ohio State’s defense has been even better this season than it was last time around. The Buckeyes have been particularly effective against the run — not today, though.

Michigan already has 108 rushing yards, and it’s not even halftime yet. Ohio State hasn’t given up 100 yards on the ground in a game since its season-opening win over Texas.

Michigan’s drive stalled out in OSU territory, but kicker Dominic Zvada drilled another long field goal — this one a 49-yarder — to cut the Ohio State lead to one point.

The Wolverines are finding plenty of success on the ground so far. They’re out over midfield again as we hit the halfway point in the second quarter.

Facing a fourth-and-5 in Michigan territory, Julian Sayin found Jeremiah Smith on a fade route and the star sophomore got into the end zone for a 35-yard touchdown.

The play was briefly reviewed as there was question about whether Smith bobbled the ball before he crossed the goal line, but it was ultimately upheld for a touchdown.

That’s how the first quarter will end. It’s a field goal fest so far, and the Buckeyes will have it at midfield when action resumes.

It was a quick possession for Michigan and the Buckeyes have it right back as the first quarter ticks toward a close.

The Red Raiders are leaving no doubt in their regular season finale. Behren Morton just threw his second pass TD of the game and Texas Tech has a three-score lead at the end of the first quarter.

The Buckeyes had five cracks at the end zone from inside the 3-yard line and somehow couldn’t punch it in. After an offside penalty pushed them back on fourth down, Ryan Day chose to take the points.

What a deflating finish to a good drive by the Buckeyes.

Well the Buckeyes got some help inside the 5-yard line as Jaishawn Barham nearly headbutted a ref and gave Ohio State a free set of downs.

The Buckeyes are now finding a little bit of a rhythm offensively. They’re inside the 10-yard line after two nifty chunk plays by Bo Jackson.
