"Kosovo declared independence in 2008, with the conflict over. Unfortunately, that was not accepted by Serbia, and so there are still arguments that go on to this day over that conflict. Kosovo still has people around who suffered in it, fought in it, lived through it, including British military veterans. And there is still a small British contingent there, to this very day. All of that means that this is, sadly, not yet fully a historical object."
