LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The University of Kentucky is believed to be parting ways with head coach Mark Stoops on Monday, according to experts.
ESPN College Football Senior Writer Pete Thamel posted on Sunday that UK is set to fire Mark Stoops after 13 seasons at the helm for the Wildcats.

The decision comes after a humbling 41-0 defeat against the UofL Cardinals on Saturday to finish UK’s season with a 5-7 record.
There is no word yet on any potential candidates to replace Stoops.
