Why in Belarusian?

I finally understood why a whole army of Russians is here – to tell a Belarusian in what language he sees his dreams.

You know, I could write a book, or even two, about why it is necessary to use one’s native language. But you can ask Google, Neuronka, a Belarusian-speaking friend – here the main thing is to want to listen. Still, I will say this:

I am sure that the language would not have mattered – the Russians would not have banned Belarusian for centuries, Lukashenka would not have done everything to supplant it, and no one would have even seen this rascal in the comments.

A simple example: ask Google about Belarusians in Russian. You will see a lot of pages where katsap will tell you that Belarusians are "a rural nation invented by the Poles, but in fact they are Russians…". The last pages may be better, but still an imperial lie.

The Russian language forces you to be in a Russian environment, the cultural and informational level of which you judge yourself. Language is a mental border, without which the physical border has no meaning. And culture is never complete without politics, that’s for sure in the Russian Empire.
