Work has been incredibly stressful recently and my days off for the last few weeks have been filled with appointments, commitments, chores etc so I haven’t had time for myself and when the opportunity for a hike opened up yesterday I was on it like white on rice. 6 blissful km’s through gently falling snow breathing crisp, cold air felt amazing.

How lovely! I (64f) am from the Midwest and moved to Arizona in 1973. I sure do miss chickadees and seeing their tracks in the snow!
