The awarded projects were carried out together with Fraport Slovenia, SPAR Slovenia, Kotányi Slovenia, and the Retoba laboratory. Awarded projects in predictive analytics, retail media, and next-generation tech activations powered by artificial intelligence
The silver award in the Predictive Analytics & Audience Intelligence category went to the advertising platform and retail media network Ljubljana Airport FLY 2.0, developed by iPROM in collaboration with Fraport Slovenia. The solution is enhanced with reinforcement learning, which uses first-party data, passenger behavioral signals, and actual airline ticket sales to automatically optimize the digital advertising infrastructure. The system segments users in real time based on travel intentions, adjusts media-buying budget allocation, and selects creative solutions with the best performance. This enables independent campaign management, advertising in verified media environments, and more precise targeting of potential travelers, while Fraport Slovenia retains full data ownership.
In the Retail & Commerce Media category, the silver award was given to the intelligent advertising system SPAR Tailormade, developed by iPROM in partnership with SPAR Slovenia. The solution is designed to provide more relevant and timely offers to customers and is based on integrating online and offline purchasing data from the loyalty program, CRM system, and online store. The platform enables the creation of micro-segments based on users’ behavioral patterns, which SPAR Slovenia uses for targeted media buying and personalized advertising in online media, leveraging its own data infrastructure. SPAR Tailormade is built on iPROM’s Private DMP solution, whose primary function is to drive in-store purchases.
In the Next-Gen Tech Activation Campaign category, the silver award went to the Kotányi AI Chef project, created by the Retoba laboratory in collaboration with Kotányi Slovenia. The solution introduces conversational marketing, based on a combination of conversational AI, intent analysis, and proprietary brand content. The platform creates a virtual culinary ambassador who builds emotional connections with users through personalized conversations, enables the collection of in-depth feedback using Retoba PulseDialog technology, and supports the development of innovative products. The system functions as a conversational interface with extensive knowledge of recipes and product information, offering users personalized suggestions, instructions, and inspiration. It demonstrates how advanced AI can transform user experience and open new opportunities for brand growth.
