New Zealand yacht designer Kevin Dibley is very proud to announce that his Kraken 58 design is one of the nominees for the 2026 European Yacht of the Year awards. The first K58 is launched and is currently being delivered to Malta.

The twelve judges representing the twelve European yachting magazines who collectively chose her will be putting her through various sea trials and tests over the next few months,
as they do with all the nominees.

The European Yacht of the Year award, which has been awarded since 2004, is the world’s most prestigious and best recognised award for new sailing yachts. Its special feature is that all nominated boats are actually sailed and tested directly against each other under
the most equal conditions possible.
