The 16th artist in our Who Is series for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is Nela Mančeska from North Macedonia.

Nela Mančeska is 13 years old and comes from Skopje. She became interested in music at a young age. She hopes to become a singer and perform her own songs in the future. In 2024, she participated in the eleventh season of the Croatian talent show Supertalent.

Apart from performing, Nela’s other hobbies include spending time with her friends and family, discovering new creative hobbies and exploring the world around her with curiosity and energy.

Nela was selected to represent North Macedonia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 through auditions in Skopje. She was chosen for her “extraordinary vocal abilities, musical maturity and exceptional stage presence”.

The song that Nela will perform in Tbilisi is called “Miracle”. It was composed by Lazar Cvetkoski and written by Magdalena Cvetkoska. Lazar previously wrote the Macedonian Eurovision entries in 2013, 2014 and 2019, as well as Albania’s 2020 entry. Magdalena also worked on North Macedonia’s 2013 entry. This will also be the siblings’ third Junior Eurovision song, having both worked on “Fire” and “Marathon” which competed for North Macedonia in 2019 and 2024 respectively.

Nela will perform in slot number 10 in the final of Junior Eurovision 2025.

North Macedonia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

North Macedonia was one of 16 countries to take part in the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. Marija & Viktorija on the country’s debut with the song “Ti ne me poznavaš”, finishing 12th with 19 points. North Macedonia’s best result to date is 5th place, which they achieved in 2007 with “Ding Ding Dong” by Rosica & Dimitar and in 2008 with “Prati mi SMS” by Bobi Andonov.
