President Ilham Aliyev, during a meeting with a delegation led by Bakyt Torobayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, has outlined the significance of Azerbaijan’s full-fledged participation in the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, APA reports.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that Kyrgyzstan was one of the first countries to support Azerbaijan’s inclusion in the cooperation format with Central Asian states, emphasizing that this reflected the fraternal nature of bilateral relations.

The head of state expressed gratitude to Kyrgyzstan and other countries, stressing that Azerbaijan’s full membership in the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State would further strengthen the connection between Central Asia and the South Caucasus. He added that this cooperation would play an important role in ensuring uninterrupted and stable cargo transportation in both directions and in deepening the bonds of brotherhood among the peoples of the region.
