The 17th artist in our Who Is series for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is Marino Vrgoč from Croatia.
Marino Vrgoč is 10 years old and come from Ploče in southern Croatia. He has a big interest in music and performing and is part of the school choir and drama group, as well as learning to play the piano. Outside of music, he enjoys playing football, saying that Ronaldo is his biggest role model. He also recently started karate lessons.
Marino was selected to represent Croatia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 after winning the first series of The Voice Kids Hrvatska in February. After he was revealed as the Croatian entrant, an open call for songs took place.
The song that Marino will perform in Tbilisi is called “Snovi” (Dreams). It was written and composed by Arjana Kunštek, Ines Prajo and Marino himself.
Marino will perform in slot number 3 in the final of Junior Eurovision 2025.

Croatia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and won the first contest with Dino Jelusić and his song “Ti si moja prva ljubav”. Following their victory, Croatia was due to host the competition after the United Kingdom had difficulties. However, Croatia also had to withdraw from hosting as their planned venue was booked for the dates of the contest. Croatia went on to participate annually until 2006 when they withdrew from the competition. In 2014, Croatia returned represented by Josie and her song “Game Over”. She finished last with 13 points. Croatia will return to Junior Eurovision this year.
