The only thing that can counter those pesky ULA snipers /s
But that’s a really cool blast from the past!

You see the Enterprise, the only Shuttle that never flew.
This photo is a 1985 fit‑check and integration test at Space Launch Complex‑6 (SLC‑6) Vandenburg. After the *Challenger* accident in January 1986, all plans to launch shuttles from there were canceled.

Sadly I can see this being needed at some point, because of religious extremists or just terrorism in general. There’s a lot of crazy people who if they had their way would send us all back to the caves.

Spent two years at Vandyland. Atlas launches were wild, so loud that you felt it in your bones.

$6,800 per year to start! Wow, 7% lower than federal minimum wage, what a deal!

That looks like a refreshing R&R for that guy after all that exploring of alien worlds through the Stargate under Cheyenne mountain.
Surprised there wasn’t a BFA painted on the end of that rifle, just to show how bad ass security forces are… /s
Love the aethetic and tbh as marketing it presents a compelling argument..
Space Shuttle theft was a bigger problem in the 1980’s than people appreciate today
