Hello, I many of those for a project, but impossible to find or only in small quantities (only one store Gustavsen).
Physical local stores like Biltema, Jula… have been useless and I often have to go to 2-3 different stores to get all the parts I need.

I could find them on Temu/AliExpress easily, but with the VOEC mess… I am not sure I want to risk another double taxation…
Would be great if the country would rise up and have the Customs fix their awful system.

  1. I’ve gotten them from Bauhaus, but also in small quantity. It’s not exactly an everyday product.

  2. For big bulk not avaliable just talk to the dealer. Call and send gustavsen an email about “hey i need xxx of these threaded inserts and wonder if you are able to get ahold of a larger quantitiy.”

Weird specific retail people usually looove these questions and gustavsen is amazing so they will usually try their best to help!

Shipping might be a week longer but you will get a better deal and establish a customer relation wich will help you later as well.

Could be worth going to your nearest building supply store (like Maxbo, Byggmakker etc) and asking about it, preferably one that has a “proff” section. They may be able to order in larger boxes on request.

Stores such as Jula, Biltema etc are geared towards DYI and home repair projects in smaller scales, so they will carry stuff like this in package sizes aimed at that market.

The system we have now is pretty solid, not sure how you would even improve on it at this stage tbh

You getting double taxation from aliexpress is not the VOEC system messing up, its aliexpress that is messing up and not reporting the correct tracking numbers.

Ordering from listings with combined shipping visible is the easiest way to avoid it tho, then its all handled by aliexpress and not by sellers themself.

  5. Check brewery stores like olbrygging.no brewshop etc. I think they sell for custom tap handles. Search “gjengestykke”
