I’m trying to improve the visibility of my small business on Google here in Luxembourg, and I’m still trying to understand how the Google ranking system really works. Ideally, I’d like my website to appear higher when people search for something like “Nettoyage Luxembourg.”
What’s confusing is that when I search for “Nettoyage Luxembourg,” my website appears near the top on my own device, but since Google personalizes results, I know that might only be the case for me. Other people might not see it on the first page at all.
If anyone has a moment, could you search “Nettoyage Luxembourg” and let me know if www.ms-nettoyage.lu shows up for you? It would really help me understand my real position in the search results.
On a related note:
What are some effective ways to advertise a small business in Luxembourg? I’ve considered placing ads in newspapers (e.g. Luxembourg word Kleinanzeigen), but I’m not sure if people still look at those or if it’s outdated. If you have any recommendations or know what works well locally, I’d really appreciate your advice.

Well you should look into SEO optimization if you want to improve your ranking.
I have adblockers, dont use facebook, dont allow physical ad-mails, dont own a tv, avoid ppl which try to speak to me about their company. The only way you could reach me is by a large Flyer, funny enough that i look for 2 seconds at it. Or by having your company name on your door or Car and beeing in my neighbourghood.
