Video shows apparent burning fireball in western Maine sky
Anybody have a clue what this could be? There were no scheduled rocket launches at the time of this fireball and it is moving through the sky extremely slowly, much slower than a meteor.
I’d guess it is a cloud/contrail hit from the front by the light and casting a shadow onto itself.

Just looks like a normal contrail that’s caught the light in a strange way, it doesn’t really look like it’s moving at all. If it was some sort of debris or a plane coming down it would be visibly moving. Certainly it’s not anything from space.
