Foreign cruise ship traffic in Croatia increased in the first ten months of 2025, with Dubrovnik remaining one of the country’s most visited ports, according to new data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).

From January to October, 92 foreign cruise ships sailed the Croatian Adriatic—12 more than in the same period last year—and completed 715 cruises, marking a year-on-year increase of 28. More than one million passengers arrived on these vessels, around 2,000 more than in 2024.

Cruise ships spent a total of 1,624 days in Croatian waters, up 62 days compared to the previous year. The most active were vessels sailing under the Maltese and Bahamian flags.

The Dubrovnik-Neretva and Split-Dalmatia counties accounted for nearly half of all cruise movements—a combined 46.7 percent. Dubrovnik, along with Split and Zadar, remained one of the most frequented Croatian ports for international cruisers.

In October alone, the Adriatic recorded 99 cruise trips, slightly down from last year, though Dubrovnik still ranked among the busiest stopovers.
