What is described as “The largest three-day Christmas market in the Baltics”, Baltic EXPO, will take place from 12th–14th December at the International Exhibition Centre in Ķīpsala, Rīga.
This year, the market will bring together 417 local merchants, artisans, home producers, and businesses from Latvia (303), Lithuania (85), and Estonia (29). Visitors of all ages will be welcomed with a dedicated gourmet food area and creative workshops for children. Admission to the Christmas market in Kipsala is free of charge.

“Guests will find gifts to suit every taste — wooden and ceramic crafts, textiles, creative handmade items, jewellery, accessories, toys and clothing for children, candles, soaps, seasonal treats, beverages, games, books, and much more,” promise the organizers.
The event is family-friendly: throughout all three days, visitors to the “Baltic EXPO” Christmas market will be able to enjoy not only a most diverse gift selection in one place, but also free creative workshops for children located in the “Rotalnica” activity quarter. Meanwhile, young visitors will be able to jump, play, and burn energy in the huge inflatable attraction zone.

Food lovers will have the chance to taste and purchase delicious treats and food gifts in the nearby gourmet trader area “Receptes”.
“We see people moving away from impersonal gifts and choosing those made by hands and stories.
