Air Canada has released its annual holiday video.

This year, the focus is on Dreams Take Flight — a volunteer-driven program that has provided thousands of children with day trips to destinations such as Walt Disney World Resort for more than three decades.

Holiday Dreams Take Flight, launched in 90-, 30- and 15-second formats across social and digital platforms.

The video follows seven-year-old Kaiennenhawi (Hawi) from the Kanien’kehà:ka community of Akwesasne as she experiences her first flight and a visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

“We pour our heart and soul into every holiday spot we make – and this one has extra special meaning for all of us at Air Canada,” said John Xydous, Director, Brand Strategy & Content Marketing at Air Canada.

“With Holiday Dreams Take Flight, we’re showcasing the trips we’re proud to help make possible for more than a thousand children each year, while paying tribute to the many employees and volunteers, both active and retired, who continue to donate their time and energy to Dreams Take Flight.”

Dreams Take Flight operates eight charity-chartered flights from cities across Canada each year. The trips are volunteer-run, with Air Canada employees decorating aircraft, coordinating logistics, and accompanying children throughout the experience.

The airline expects to carry more than one million customers over the busy holiday period, with over 5,000 flights to more than 180 destinations.

Seasonal touches include festive meals in lounges and on select flights from December 24–25, holiday-themed additions in airports, and in-flight entertainment options.

The Air Canada Foundation, established in 2012, focuses on the health and well-being of children and youth. Its initiatives include the Hospital Transportation Program, which redistributes Aeroplan points to 15 pediatric hospitals across Canada to help families access medical care. The Foundation also supports fundraising initiatives such as the Every Bit Counts onboard donation program and continues to participate in national health-related causes and international humanitarian efforts.
