The Central Election Commission (CEC) today certified the candidates for MPs of political entities for the December 28 elections, but not those of the Serb List.
Sami Kurteshi and Alban Krasniqi from the Vetëvendosje Movement opposed the certification of the Serb List’s candidates.
The CEC member from Vetëvendosje, Sami Kurteshi, said they are against certifying the candidates of the Serbian party, which is supported by official Belgrade, according to KosovaPress.
With six abstentions, two votes against, and three votes in favor, the certification of the Serb List’s candidate list was rejected.
The Serb List has 33 candidates for the early parliamentary elections that will be held on December 28.
