      I’m not Irish or English, but I understand why this is happening. Both have more things in common than the people who is coming to Europe. It makes sense to ally with someone who is a bit different from you that ally with someone who is completely different.

      Sums up our whole right wing brigade really. The fact that half of them are able to protest during working hours during the Coolock lockout and then this. Part of me feels I don’t have to worry as much any more. Majority of people I know who sprout anti immigration are same people who think the weather is controlled and are anti vaxers etc. Take into account again majority of these people are weed smokers and listen to Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson

      We have had patriots in the past, real patriots, who didn’t hesitate to cosy up to the Nazis for the sake of Irish freedom.

      The kind that the boring old onanist St. Christopher Moore eulogised in ‘Viva La Quinta Brigada’.

      Imagine it. An Irish Republican Connolly Socialist died in Nazi Germany, working with them. Step forward, Frank Ryan.

      And don’t mention his pal, the Irish Republican Nazi Collaborator, Sean Russell, died aboard a U-Boat.

      ‘Amicus meus, inimicus inimici mei.’ As they say.

      Now that you all know a little bit more of Irish history than you did, to be CONSISTENT, you all now have to cry, and moan, and bitch, that – guilty by association – the Irish Republican Connolly Socialist Frank Ryan was in fact a Nazi.

      Aren’t facts inconvenient though ?

      Let’s Say we make Ireland fully diverse –
      20% Hindu / South Asian
      20% Muslim / Middle Eastern in Orgin
      … fuck it 5% Jewish

      (There’s three groups already that will all get along famously)

      Then say the rest European and Africa

      Do you people really believe then that Ireland will what – be some sort of Utopia? It’ll just be a mini America with no defined culture or national identity full of opposing groups that clash with one another……
