Fuck Meta. I’m a VR user and one day they toasted my Oculus Home (a customisable virtual space that was used as a launch point for VR games and apps) with exactly zero consultation or warning, and no ability to save the personalised virtual space in any way. That was more than a year ago and the sheer lack of sympathy or respect still stings.
I was going to step away from Meta products for good anyway once my current headset gives up the ghost; this news just confirms it.
