I’m not particularly fond of the idea of war. But I intellectually understand the “si vis pacem, para bellum” principle. Now, while russia is a foe to consider, their lamentable expedition in Ukraine makes them look more like a paper tiger. I may change my stance under heavy artillery bombardment though. Now, aren’t we avoiding the elephant in the room? Even if not as geographically relevant, what if China decided to go rogue like russia? They could after all move troops around through russia (wouldn’t fare well for them but who can tell?)
