The younger youth football team of Montenegro was defeated in the second friendly match against North Macedonia.
Today’s match ended with the same result as two days ago – 2:1.
This time, the hosts were the first to take the lead, with an own goal by Novak Fatić in the 21st minute. Just three minutes later, Andrija Vukoje equalized, and a few minutes later, Ivo Markoski brought the victory to North Macedonia.
“Unfortunately, another defeat to North Macedonia with the same result. A very similar game to the first. It is symptomatic that this team creates good situations and chances, but has difficulty realizing them, while, on the other hand, it concedes goals very easily and thus remains without a positive result. There were things that are commendable, especially the events in the first half, but everything falls apart when what is being played for is missing, which is the result. We need to work on correcting these details, which are very important, as well as on additional selection of players, in the coming period,” emphasized coach Nenad Vukčević.
