What do Cypriots think of the DLR Cyprus station in London, United Kingdom?

    I drove past it once and thought oh cool there’s a DLR station called Cyprus, I wonder why. Then I never thought about it again until now

  3. It’s called Cyprus beacaue that where the ships from Cyprus used to dock during colonial era to offload all the stolen goodies . Same with East India Station. Also Cyprus DLR station is the only station in the TfL network that’s a country name (not counting stations like Denmark Hill)

    I love it, gives me a warm fuzzy whenever I drive past (whenever there’s a tailback on the A13)

  5. So now when in the UK I have to be careful when booking a ticket to Cyprus if it’s a train ticket or a plane ticket
