Venezuela produces less than 1% of the world’s oil, though it has the largest reserves. Since most western countries have sanctioned Venezuela, china is the main buyer of their oil. China has to import energy, but it gets a lot more from nations other than Venezuela. Keep in mind chevron has a special permit to work in Venezuela and is actively doing so; the situation is more nuanced than you might think. Even if America were to invade Venezuela, it would take years to ramp up oil production. And china would just buy more from Russia or the Arab states instead. It wouldn’t really hurt them
