“As a matter of principle, Iran condemns the violent attack against civilians in Sydney, Australia,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei said in a post on X.
“Terror violence and mass killing shall be condemned, wherever they’re committed, as unlawful and criminal.”
The Iranian government is used to just words and not action (I’m partially Iranian myself- Iranian citizen but I assume now it’s no longer valid as I am US citizen and have been in America for 13 years since I was last there for middle school, but part of me will always be an Iranian; Iran outlawed dual citizenship and even a US Senator recently introduced legislation also outlawing dual citizenship) – instead of them protecting the Middle East and the world from becoming more unsafe, they choose to fund known terror groups. I don’t appreciate the fact that Iran is so blind to the fact that they have been accused before when it comes to international terror attacks. I’m also a US born citizen, it’s not like America is contributing to make the world a safer place either.
I really hope the Iranian government gets a complete overhaul, for a better Iran, a better/safer middle east, and the rest of the planet. I’m sick and tired of both of my countries acting like words are going to change things, undo all the killings of these kinds of attacks. America especially, should get rid of Trump. These are things that will make me happy should they occur.

I actually thought this attack was genuinely just non state actors DIYing a terror attack coz they were inspired by rethoric.
After seeing Iran come out strong with the obviously insinceer trolling condemnation, like Hitler condemning someone elses gassing jews, I now fully suspect this is actually low key gloating & they’re behind it

Australia’s investigating if Iran was involved in the attack, and Iran’s releasing statements pretending they weren’t involved in this attack or any of the earlier attacks and vandalism.
This has the same credability as when Israel tries to deny that they have killed a hamas terrorist.
Like come on bro we all know what the IRGC does for its past time☠️

Are we supposed to believe this just like we’re supposed to believe Albanese’s “we’re totally not an antisemitic country I promise” speech?

The IRGC literally did arson attacks against Jewish businesses in Australia last year

That’s pretty rich coming from the country with an entire line of ballistic missiles named for famous massacres of Jews.

Iran needs help with it’s water supply more than it wants to be bombed by Israel again it seems. Not holding my breath for any changes in the regime’s stance towards more broadly killing Jews.

They just want full rights for all antisemitic attack around the world – they should really patent these terrorist attacks.
