BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. The grand
opening of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in
Azerbaijan took place in Baku, Trend reports.

The event was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center and included a
rich concert program featuring Uzbek artists and creative groups.
The evening featured musical and dance performances.

Speaking at the event Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan
Farid Jafarov emphasized that today, Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations
are dynamically developing in all spheres, including culture,
thanks to the far-sighted policies of the heads of state.

The deputy minister emphasized that under the leadership of the
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the country is achieving
significant success in all areas of development.

“Culture is one of the priority and especially important areas
of this process. After all, we are peoples originating from the
same roots and sharing a common historical and cultural heritage,
values, and traditions,” he said.

The opening ceremony was part of the cultural dialogue between
Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and was aimed at strengthening friendly
ties and developing humanitarian cooperation between the two
countries.

The event brought together representatives of official circles,
cultural figures, as well as guests and residents of the
capital.
