WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Myles Colvin scored 26 of his career-high 33 points in the first half and Wake Forest rolled to a 111-73 victory over Queens University. Colvin made 11 of 13 shots from the floor, including 7 of 8 from 3-point range, for the Demon Deacons (8-3), who are to 6-1 at home. He added eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Omaha Biliew had 16 points on 5-for-7 shooting with four 3-pointers, and Nate Calmese scored 15 on 5-for-7 shooting with three 3s. Juke Harris made all seven of his free throws and scored 14. Chris Ashby had 15 points on 5-for-11 shooting from beyond the arc to lead the Royals (5-6), who fell to 0-5 on the road.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Neoklis Avdalas scored 11 of his 16 points in the second half when Virginia Tech outscored Maryland-Eastern Shore by 20 to pull away for an 82-53 win on Sunday. Avdalas added seven assists. Christian Gurdak had 13 points and eight rebounds, Tyler Johnson added 12 points as did Amani Hansberry, who also had nine rebounds. Ben Hammond scored 10 points for the Hokies (10-2), who won their fourth consecutive game and are 7-0 at home. Dorion Staples and Christopher Flippin scored seven points each to lead UMES (4-11), which has lost five straight.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Laura Ziegler had 17 points, Elif Istanbulluoglu scored 16 and No. 22 Louisville shut out 12th-ranked North Carolina in overtime, winning 76-66 in the Tar Heels’ Atlantic Coast Conference opener. It was all Louisville in the extra period after Indya Nivar missed two free throws for the Tar Heels (9-3, 0-1) with 5 seconds left in regulation and Imari Berry hit the second of two foul shots for the Cardinals with less than a second remaining to force OT tied at 66-all. Skylar Jones and Berry both made a basket and two free throws as Louisville (10-3, 2-0) outscored the Tar Heels 10-0  for the victory. Reserve Taliyah Henderson led the Tar Heels with 13 points on 5-for-5 shooting with three 3-pointers.

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) — Cassandre Prosper scored 24 points, Malaya Cowles added a season-high 17 and No. 19 Notre Dame defeated James Madison 78-65. Prosper hit 11 of 16 shots and added six rebounds plus three assists. Cowles had five steals and four rebounds. Hannah Hidalgo added 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals. Notre Dame was up 56-36 with 3 1/2 minutes left in the third before JMU rallied. The Dukes’ 7-1 run to open the final period got them within 61-52. Cowles made a layup and Vanessa DeJesus drained a 3-pointer to restore a 14-point advantage and Notre Dame led by at least 12 points for the remainder. Ashanti Barnes scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for James Madison.
