The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, on 15.12.2025, extradited the Kosovar citizen from Kosovo to Albania.
According to a media release, the suspect was arrested by Kosovo Police units, as he was wanted by an international arrest warrant issued by Albanian justice institutions, on suspicion of involvement in the criminal offense of ‘involvement in a structured criminal group’.
“The extradition was carried out thanks to the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Albania,” the announcement states.
Meanwhile, the Directorate for International Police Cooperation will continue to exchange information with local institutions, states and international organizations, with the aim of preventing, investigating and detecting criminal activities related to the investigation of perpetrators of criminal offenses, as well as other activities in tracking, capturing and arresting individuals and criminal groups operating inside and outside the country. /Telegrafi/
