This might not be an immediately popular opinion but… isn’t this sort of good? Putin (and Trump) are running out of time since they’re old men. The war isn’t escalating where the existence of Ukraine is immediately threatened like it was when Putin’s forces were right outside of Kyiv. Battlelines are drawn and are slightly fluctuating. At some point in time, the US will elect an adult for President and Putin is going to kick the can. Then actual negotiations will begin.
I think the more there’s swift action, the more it’ll be very likely to be against Ukraine. The more time Ukraine has, the better.
