  1. Oh boy here it comes. They’re going to arrest us and lock us up for not having our papers on us.

There may be no legal requirement but if carrying them keeps you from being kidnapped by masked brownshirts than carrying them is a reasonable idea.

  3. Trump officials keep on speaking ahead of schedule for their goals.

Soon, citizens will have to have papers on them at all times because the Federal Police force that will be roaming our cities will be able to demand them from you at any time.

Remember when republicans said they were not nazis. If it goosesteps like a fascist and salutes like a fascist. ..

  5. If they’re serious about a fight with the general public, this is a guaranteed way to get there.

They do not want that fight.

  6. This is a step toward declaring elections invalid. Soon there will be some kind of “order,” that voters be able to prove they are “real,” citizens before being allowed to cast a ballot. And, in the confusion or because “the order will need time to be actionable,” Trump will graciously volunteer to serve another term in 2028, so that the evil of the Democrats stealing the 2020 election with illegal and immigrant votes can be fixed. He will claim to be doing this to save the nation but it will be a part of the “Christian Nationalization, “ of the nation. In 2032 will have only a couple of televangelists and maybe JD Vance and Barron “The Born Again,” Trump (who’ll be Constitutionally too young, but who cares about the Constitution) on the ballot.

Not too long ago (a couple months or so) I saw a post about how ICE was starting to roll out a facial recognition system…

Per the articles I saw, they were arguing that it wouldn’t matter if you had documentation showing you were a legitimate American citizen or not. If their app identified you as an illegal alien they were within their right to slap the cuffs on you and deport you on the spot.

So now I’m supposed to be carrying papers with me … Even though it doesn’t matter what they happen to say if the app dings on me I’m being sent to … Who knows where…

Or did they decide to ditch the facial recognition and opted to go back old school?

And out of curiosity… What papers specifically should I have?

My Real ID drivers license? Passport? Something else?
