Nobody in Govt will do anything to stand in the way of the housing market. The majority of people affected are non-maltese and young maltese without a down payment for a home.
The Govt doesnt give two shits about those groups and knows that if it stands in the way of naked profiteering it will pay for that at the ballot box.
