POLAND, Maine — One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle struck a pedestrian Tuesday afternoon in Poland.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. on White Oak Hill Road, according to Poland Fire Rescue Chief Tom Printup.
Printup said one person was transported to the hospital. Their condition was not immediately available.
A portion of White Oak Hill Road was closed during the response and reopened by 4:15 p.m. The Androscoggin County sheriff’s office is investigating.
