The creator of Tilly Norwood, the viral “actress” built with AI, says she is not out to replace real actresses.
Producer Eline Van der Velden is after something else—a new visual language of acid-trippy world building and uncanny realism only made possible by AI. She envisions “a whole new creative renaissance” for filmmakers and fewer financial barriers to new work. Most big movies today cost more than $100 million to make. Van der Velden thinks one done with AI would cost a fraction of that.
Nothing more than a producer’s attempt to generate buzz by making it seem like everyone is scared of her product and how good of an “actor” it can be

show me two pictures of Tilly Norwood that look like the same person and I’ll start worrying

Can anyone post a link of her acting that is supposedly “freaking” people out?
Because I couldn’t find anything more than ‘look at me, I’m pretty’, the acting I did find was .. well, I used to think models can’t act, but AI is adding a whole new layer of bad.
In fact, I’d be happy for any video of good acting by AI generation, because all I’ve seen was flat and bad. Not to mention getting more than 5 consistent seconds of content is nearly impossible atm.

What’s the point of AI actors? AI could, theoretically, create any human it wants, why limit itself to actors?

Some people are desperately trying to make this thing into a story.

Amazing, thanks for changing the world with this groundbreaking application of this new technology.

Jesus Christ, what an over complication of an otherwise easy and uncomplicated process. A 10-person team and 2,000 iterations?!?! 🤣🤣🤣
Literally anyone with the right prompt can one-shot a beautiful actress that looks 100% photorealistic. ONE person, ONE iteration.
