Deloitte Luxembourg has appointed Joachim Heukmes as its new managing partner, succeeding John Psaila who will step down next year.
Heukmes will take up the role on 1 June 2026, replacing Psaila who has been managing partner since June 2018 and will have served two consecutive mandates totalling eight years by next summer.
Heukmes, who joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2004, is a member of the firm’s executive committee and currently serves as lead partner at the strategy, risk, regulatory and transactions advisory practice, as well as deputy leader of advisory and consulting.
Psaila has been with Deloitte for three decades, joining the Luxembourg office in 2001. He became a partner in the audit practice in 2008, and was appointed to the executive committee in 2015.
