Buckhorn Public Arts brings Grammy-nominated artist RY X to Aspen for a special winter performance at 8 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Wheeler Opera House. RY X is known for his atmospheric sound and global following. A pre-show reception from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. will be held for Buckhorn Social Club members. PRESS on the Road at Hotel Jerome, Dec. 19-20

PRESS on the Road will kick off Dec. 19-20 at Hotel Jerome, located at 330 E. Main St. A multi-property collaboration between the Auberge Collection and PRESS, Napa Valley’s iconic restaurant known for over two decades of dedication to regionally sourced cuisine and the world’s most extensive collection of Napa Valley wines, brings the PRESS experience on the road.

The activations will bring to life signature dishes. It’s an opportunity to experience a Napa Valley icon in Auberge settings through the winter season. 

Dinner will feature:

  • Seeded Pretzel Epi with cultured yoghurt butter and sweet onion powder (enhancement: spoon of Petrossian Ossetra — $95)
  • Ricotta Gnudi with shaved matsutake and mushroom essence (enhancements: Perigord black truffle — $90 | Alba white truffle — $155)
  • Alaskan halibut with Dungeness crab and smoked butter
  • Eye of the ribeye with short rib crêpe, chanterelle mushrooms, and red beet jus
  • Opera Cake with coffee-caramel cremeux.

Après Ski family-friendly show at Hotel Jerome, Dec. 20-21

Theatre Aspen will present “Once Upon a Time Broadway Wintertime Tales” from 4-5 p.m. Dec. 20-21 in the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Jerome, located at 330 E. Main St. This one-hour performance boasts a star-studded cast, with Danny Kornfeld, Mia Scarpa, Nevada Riley, Chris Marsh Clark, Avery Ramsey, and Sofia Macaluso. Designed for families with children ages 4-10, the show includes assigned seating with a special area near the stage for children. Diplo at Belly Up Aspen, Dec. 20

Diplo will perform at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 20 at Belly Up Aspen. A 13-time Grammy nominee, Diplo is a member of Major Lazer and the supergroup LSD, with Sia and Labrinth. Known for blending electronic, dancehall, and pop influences, he has released music across solo and collaborative projects. Diplo also released a self-titled album in 2022, his first full-length of electronic music in 18 years, featuring four U.S. Dance No. 1 singles. The show is for ages 21 and older. Holiday Wellness Fair and Boutique Shipping, Dec. 21

Holiday Wellness Fair and Boutique Shipping will take place from 2-5 p.m. and a Winter Solstice Ritual Gathering from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with astrology, Tarot, apothecary, massage, sound healing, and fresh juice. Holiday Paint and Sip and Vintage Ornament Painting classes, Dec. 21-22

Challenge Aspen presents a “Sensory Friendly Santa” from 5-6 p.m. Dec. 22 at The Collective Snowmass, located at 49 Wood Rd. in Snowmass Village. A Holiday Market will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 23 at MOLLIE Aspen, located at 111 S. Holiday Après and Cookie Decorating at MOLLIE Aspen, Dec. 24

The MOLLIE Aspen will host a “Festive Cookie Decorating and Holiday Après” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 24 on MOLLIE’s Roof Terrace. Penelope Thornton will perform live acoustic music while participants decorate an assortment of seasonal cookies. The Roof Terrace Bar will be open for a selection of light bites and beverages. ‘Orbison Family Christmas’ album

Äsa Orbinson’s newly released holiday album, “Orbison Family Christmas,” featuring the entire Roy Orbison Jr. family, is available. Produced by Roy Orbison Jr., the album features Äsa performing alongside her husband and four children — Roy, Bo, Love, and Sun — all under 10 years old.

“Christmas has always been our favorite time of year — a season that fills our home with love, laughter, and the warmth of being together. Creating this album with my whole family was such a beautiful experience,” Äsa Orbison said in a statement.
