Imagine if the MSM normalized Jeremiah Wright and gave him a platform to spread hate towards white people.

  2. Town Hall? She doesn’t deserve a Town Hall. Is she running for anything? No, she’s not. So what’s the point?

  3. most of my conservative friends do not believe one bit of her little show lol the veil is lifting

  4. Charlie said we are not to listen to single mothers. Doesn’t she have children at home to raise?

  5. Kirk what happened to him regardless of views was a terrible thing, but come on Bari you know the modern audience has the attention span of a 2 year old. People have moved on

Bari Weiss was bought out and brought on as a hired gun. Her whole shtick is ‘being a radical centrist is the *real* extremist position. That’s not including that she’s a Zionist. Well, maybe including that, but she’s a cringe lord (cringelady?) already without factoring that in. She’s desperate to inject herself into whatever discourse she can because she has this idea that what America needs is to hear her particular curated vision of commentary.

After the whole ‘you WILL revere Charlie Kirk as a champion of free speech’ rhetoric amid a crackdown of actual free speech, the whole thing where conspiratorial and vaguely (and not so vaguely) antisemetic right wingers think Erika Kirk is involved in an Israeli plot to murder Charlie before he could turn on Israel, pretty much everyone doesnt care what she has to say. That was the whole point of this, as a rebuttal against that. Bari Weiss, staunch defender of Israel, was there to help her with that. For what it’s worth I don’t think for a second Israel had anything to do with it, but here we are nonetheless.

But even with all that, it just came across as faked and forced. I think there was a thought that this was a conversation people were interested in, but people simply have moved on. After the wave of canceling the left is just putting the man out of their thought space entirely,  so they dont care and have no sympathy. The right is eating itself with conspiracies as it so often does, but after trying unsuccessfully to tie Kirk’s assassination to the left, it now is going after it’s own. This interview was IMO to try and quell that, but the right loves itself a conspiracy too much to just let this go.
