Together with LA, the alternative has gathered a majority for a privacy commission, which must map the surveillance and collection of ordinary Danes, and among other things assess the consequences for our legal security and right to privacy.

It really is an important step to get control of the government’s (Peter Hummelgaard’s) eagerness to monitor us all. I could only see it mentioned briefly: https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/politik/live-seneste-nyt-fra-dansk-politik-2?focusId=10724482

I follow Helene Brydensholt and she is really sharp on the whole agenda with our privacy, so a recommendation to follow her if you are into that sort of thing. And always nice to see the government outnumbered so they ended up voting for themselves.

Here is a previous article on the Privacy Commission: https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/politik/flertal-uden-om-regeringen-vil-have-privatlivskommission-til-overvaage-overvaagningen-af-borgerne

Nu skal overvågningen af danskerne overvåges!
