Zelenskyy is right. A truly unified Eastern flank, from the Baltics to the Black Sea, is Putin’s ultimate geopolitical nightmare. It’s the one outcome his “divide and conquer” strategy is designed to prevent.

I’m sure the Polish would love to bloody Russia’s nose after what the USSR did to them.

I as a hungarian will do everything I can to help you in this and weaken the russian ifluence on my country. Our last chance is the next elections in ’26. We will get trough this!

And that’s why we constantly see bots and trolls trying to sow division between the 2 countries.

The sad thing is that after initial support to Ukraine Refugees many polish people got indifferent towards ukrainians or even turned hostile due to longer queues at hospitals, higher rents/less available flats, government money being given away not to polish ppl etc.
Quickly it’s been forgotten what nightmare they are going through and the hostile propaganda online wasn’t helping for sure. Also polish politicians tried to score easy points with those who started to be against any additional aid to refugees and wanted to have the government putting polish people first.
Heartbreaking really, we should stand as one against the communist front.

Because any 2 European militaries+economies can defeat Russia. That’s how weak Russia is at this point. If the war expands even a little: collapse.

Eastern Europe remembers the oppression from the USSR and the Russian Empire. This NATO excuse is just a gaslighted narrative for why they went a war. Eastern Europe remembers, and so they ran to NATO, not the other way around. And they were damn right in doing so!

Poland and Ukraine are where my great grandparents are from respectively. Nothing would make me happier than to see them team up and beat the shit out of Putin.
