Child throws mini fireworks from lift and starts forest fire

There was a fire near a chairlift in the Spieljoch ski area (Zillertal) on Sunday. A child threw a mini firecracker from the lift, which caused dry bushes below to ignite. Around 100m2 in a forest area was affected. The fire brigade first reached the scene of the fire using the gondola lift and then using snow groomers. The fire was finally extinguished from the air using a helicopter using water from the reservoir immediately above.
