
This OSINT analysis shows how the pro-justice protests in Romania were quickly absorbed into the Russian-speaking information ecosystem and reinterpreted not as a legitimate civic event, but as “proof” of a captured state and the failure of the European model.
Based on monitoring of Telegram and Russian-language news websites, the article explains the framing, emotional amplification, and narrative alignment mechanisms typical of FIMI operations. The focus is not on the protests themselves, but on how they are being instrumentalized by Moscow to erode trust in the judiciary, institutions and the EU.
