If only they would start fining 24/7 they might be able to build better roads. Would like to know if they even learn during DL exams that parking close to corners is not allowed since you cannot see traffic or the random pedestrian jumping on the road.

Or you know, just park right in front of my driveway so I can’t get out. Even when there is community parking just over there. And you could reverse your pool cleaning van 2 more metres into the intended driveway and all would be fine. Every time….

real question – how does police allow this to happen? in a lot of countries if you park like that it’s warranted that your car will be towed and you’ll be fined. But on Cyprus I see so much cars parked on sidewalks… I don’t recall any EU country where this happened so much (or in any way whatsoever)
