The Legacy of the Epoch: Mikhail Savitsky exhibition – organised by ROSIZO Museum and Exhibition Centre and the State Tretyakov Gallery – is launching a large-scale project to feature national art schools of the former Soviet republics
The exhibition began its work on December 17th, and it features more than 60 works by one of the most famous Belarusian artists. Some of them are kept in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, a significant part of the exhibits belongs to the Museum of Minsk History, and several more paintings can usually be seen in the halls of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.
