The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, reacted immediately after the conclusion of the Democratic Party’s protest, which was held this Monday in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Balla posted on social media a photograph from the protest showing the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, holding and waving the national flag after addressing his supporters.

In the background of the image, Molotov cocktails can be seen being thrown toward the Prime Minister’s Office building and exploding in flames.

“Sali, you can no longer burn Albania,” Balla wrote in his reaction, accompanying the post with the photo from the protest.

At the end of the rally, Molotov explosives were thrown toward the Prime Minister’s Office. As a result of the incidents, two State Police officers, a photographer, and a protester were injured.
