Montesong is now over, and Montenegro selected the artist who will represent the country at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, in May in Vienna. Tamara Živković was the winner of the Grand Final of Montesong, with “Nova Zora”, and he will wave the country’s flag at this year’s contest!
Fifteen artists, who were selected internally by the public broadcaster of Montenegro, competed on Sunday night for the victory at Montesong 2025, which would secure them the representation of the country at Eurovision 2026. In the end, after a public vote at a rate of 50%, as well as a jury vote at also 50%, the highly anticipated representative of the country for this year’s contest was selected.
The hosts of the country’s national final were Jelena Božović, Andrea Šekularac and Dajana Golubović Pejović, journalists of RTCG.
The show
The opening of the final took place with a video showcasing Nina Žižić’s road to Eurovision 2025, and her performing her entry “Dobrodošli”, on the stage of Montesong.

During the public voting, Knez, the country’s representative at Eurovision 2015, took the stage and performed “Adio”, the entry that holds Montenegro’s best result at Eurovision. Then, Asja Dzogović sang “I tužna i srećna priča”, the country’s entry at Junior Eurovision 2025.
Voting
The final ranking of the artists was influenced by 50% from the public vote and 50% from a jury. In detail, the results of the jury were:

Tamara Živković, Lana x Đorđe, Krstinja, Baryak and Stefan each got a set of twelve points
The winner of the jury vote was Tamara Živković, while the public vote gave its 12 points to Lara Baltic.
After the addition of the points, the winner was Tamara Živković, winning the ticket to Eurovision 2026!
