The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, after a parade on the boulevard, stopped at the DP headquarters, where he expressed his gratitude to all the citizens who responded to the call for protest.
Berisha described the rally as a “historic protest”, emphasizing that the action launched by the opposition will not stop until the departure of Prime Minister Edi Rama, whom he called an “enemy” of the country and of political pluralism.
“This was a historic protest. Each of us must understand our mission. If before May 11 we stood up to save the Democratic Party and political pluralism, today we are standing up to save Albania and the Albanian family. This is the highest and most sublime mission of our lives,” Berisha declared.
