AND TONIGHT, POLICE AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP FINDING THE THIEF. OUR WLWT NEWS FIVE’S RACHEL WHELAN LIVE FOR US IN NORTH COLLEGE HILL AT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TONIGHT, BREAKING DOWN THIS NEW SECURITY FOOTAGE AND THOSE BREAK-INS. HI THERE. RACHEL. HI, SHEREE AND MIKE, A COUPLE OF THOSE BREAK-INS HAPPENED ALONG GALBRAITH ROAD HERE, NOT TOO FAR FROM THE POLICE STATION. WE SAW THE DAMAGE THAT WAS LEFT BEHIND, AS WELL AS PLENTY OF FOOTAGE SHOWING WHO IS RESPONSIBLE. FOR NEARLY SEVEN YEARS PEEKING INTO BEAUTY, HAIR SALON HAS SERVED CUSTOMERS IN NORTH COLLEGE HILL, JOE MIXON AND T HIGGINS, JA’MARR CHASE AND MIKE HILTON. THEY WENT TO THE SUPER BOWL BECAUSE OF THESE HANDS. SO WHEN BURGLARS BROKE INTO THE SALON AROUND FOUR THIS MORNING. OWNER WHITNEY PEAK SAYS THERE WAS ONLY ONE WAY TO DESCRIBE IT VIOLATED. I REALLY FELT VIOLATED. I’M A GREAT PERSON, GREAT PILLAR IN THE COMMUNITY. I’M ALWAYS HELPING INDIVIDUALS. SO FOR SOMEONE TO DO THAT REALLY, REALLY HURT MY FEELINGS. IN SURVEILLANCE VIDEO, YOU CAN SEE TWO PEOPLE IN HOODIES LOOKING THROUGH THE SALON WINDOWS. SHATTERING THE GLASS DOOR AND SWEEPING THROUGH THE SALON WITH FLASHLIGHTS. THEY GRABBED THE CASH BOX, THEN DISAPPEAR INTO THE DARKNESS. I’M NOT SURE, BUT IT WAS QUITE A BIT. IT WAS QUITE A BIT OF MONEY. OFFICERS SAY PEAK AND BEAUTY WAS ONE OF MULTIPLE BUSINESSES TARGETED. I HEARD OTHER BARBERSHOPS AND SALONS WERE DEFINITELY AFFECTED, AS WELL AS THE ANTIQUE STORE UP THE STREET. THE BURGLARS ALSO TRIED TO GET INTO THE SALON NEXT DOOR, BUT THE DOUBLE PANE GLASS STOPPED THEM. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO GET FROM SALON? YOU WANT SOME HAIR OR LIKE, WHAT IS IT?
