SAXTONS RIVER — Main Street Arts invites the community to gather, create, and connect through a vibrant lineup of winter classes, performances, and events running January through March 2026. Programming spans music, movement, visual arts, writing, and performance for all ages.
Main Street Arts Executive Director Ashley Storrow said: “MSA is excited to announce new classes and workshops this winter! We have prioritized increasing youth programming, and we are especially excited for the youth winter play, ‘Persephone,’ directed by Trish Roberts.”
• Youth & Kids: Youth programming features Drawing Fundamentals for ages 8–13 (Jan. 7–Feb. 11), and a setbuilding camp for “Persephone” during February Break (Feb. 23–27), offering hands-on set-building experience. Registration for youth actors 8+ are still open in the comedy version of “Perspheone” (Feb-March). There are also volunteer opportunities in stage management, assistant directing, and costume design. Scholarships are available for all youth programming.
• Movement & Wellness: Winter offerings include Glorious Movement (The Feldenkrais Method) (Jan. 3); Awakened Voice: An Intro to Vibration & Sound (Jan. 17); and Making Pearls: An Integration of Creative and Somatic Practices (Feb. 7).
• Visual Arts: Make Your Own Mosaic Mirror (Feb. 28 & March 1; snow date March 8). The Art and Vision of Cindy Bowler Gallery Celebration (Feb. 27)
• Continuing Classes & Community Programs: Ongoing offerings include NIA Dance (Jan.–Feb. and March–April); Feldenkrais (Wednesdays, Jan. 21–Feb. 18); Red Tent Singers (Jan. 12–March 23); Mixed Rhythm Classes and Dances (Jan.–March); and Swing/Waltz Dances on select dates in January and February. Open Writers meets biweekly on Saturdays to support creative writing and shared reflection.
