I am proud we recognise this genocide and this helps for it not to be forgotten, Assyrians are also being persecuted today by Islamists, Turkey and as I have recently discovered, the Kurds, they should not be forgotten and ignored just because they are small and weak.

The GCs are constantly winning points for unification. I am not really sure if their politicians really want to unite the island and kick turkey out any more. If they do, this is definitely not the way.
