Rome-Based Drone City Joins Top NATO Program

ROME, N.Y. — Drone City, an aerospace company based in Rome, has been chosen to join the NATO DIANA Challenge program, a prestigious deep-tech innovation initiative.

Drone City founder Mehdi Salehi said, “Recognition by NATO is a significant milestone.”

The program will support the company’s testing and validation of heavy-lift unmanned systems in challenging environments and provide contractual funding, mentorship and global market connections with 32 NATO nations.

Drone City, which relocated from Brooklyn to Rome, develops advanced unmanned technologies for air, land and sea.
