I can’t seem to find this story in any Belgian news. It’s not reported on at all in North America where I’m from, so I was looking at Belgian news websites and can’t seem to find anything. Is this not worthy of reporting? Was it on your TV news?
Personally if my country joins such a high profile case I would expect to see it on my news. I’m a bit surprised. Is this normal?

Haven’t heard anything here.
But our media is really shit at reporting. Especially for international news. For example I knew about the last Pakistan India war from X a week before the Belgian news reported badly on it.
Our local news doesn’t care about this, bc they can’t ask for polarizing figures opinions on this matter.
Yes, our news media is pretty much like American or British media, but people will still pretend it’s actually good bc it’s the European Fox, which is better than American Fox, but still a pretty low standard if you ask me 🤷♂️

VRT NWS covered it. That’s where I read it. That’s our (Flemish) national news site so it was reported on here
They already can’t give good information nationally for Belgium (especially because linguistic hate) so it is not to be good for international news which doesn’t concern Belgium directly.
